Here’s a batch of photos from saturday the 28th. The photos are taken near Pall Mall and outside the Sofitel Hotel, where the gumballers were staying.

On saturday me and my friend Jay (the founder of gumball-live.com) went to the Gumball start party at Trocadero, and after that to the Carbon Black Rally start party at the Savoy hotel. Both of the parties were fantastic, though the Carbon Black party had a better vibe in my opinion, people were a bit more sociable over there.

Thanks goes to Jay for negotiating us the Gumball VIP tickets and to Ant (from antandpete.co.uk) for letting us in at the Carbon Black party!

I also have some photographs and videos of the stickering of the cars and the start party on saturday, and of the starting grid on sunday … but I haven’t gotten to postprocess them yet, because on sunday I was seriously hung over … I don’t usually drink much, but both parties had free booze, so what are you gonna do …
