Gumball 3000: 2007 Start Party Video

posted by Johan

I filmed a few clips with my Nokia N95 at the start party, and now I put together a four and a half minute video of those clips.

Check it out!

It was a great party! =)

Gumball 3000: First photographs and videos

    posted by Johan

    Hey y’all!

I just arrived in London today, and as I am here mainly for the Gumball 3000 Rally, and staying at the Trafalgar Hilton … I decided to go check out the carpark where most of the Gumball cars are going to be parked.
When I first went on a quick recon mission, armed with my Nokia N95 I noticed a beautiful red/black CCCP commie-colored Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM, and then I bumped into Tango and Sten, from Team Tangospeed, however they are doing the Carbon Black this year, but they are always fun anyway.
They told me that not many cars had arrived, and some red Porsche and a Carrera GT left for a cruise or what not when we were talking. Well I went in the garage anyway, and they weren’t bullshitting me, not many cars were there.

But I grabbed some quick video footage anyway. A few minutes later I went to fetch my dSLR to grab some stills and to try to optimize my settings for when the bulk of the cars arrive.
When I was in my hotel room on the fifth floor, from which I have a “nice” view to the Trafalgar Carpark, I saw the Adidas Gumball wagon, and it was having trouble entering the carpark because it was too tall!

In the garage I also bumped in to the Miller Motors team, they had two Ford GT’s, one was red with white stripes and the other was white with blue stripes.
I also saw a IvyHotel.com Mercedes-Benz SLR that had the picture of the drivers extremely hot wife (or so they claimed) spray painted on it, and some mechanics were making last minute preparations and installing laser-jammers and radar detectors.

    And here’s what I got …

Firstly, some raw unedited Nokia N95 footage:

    Some footage from the Garage

Censoring stuff in Adobe Premiere Pro

    posted by Johan

Okay, so you have a video, and you want to censor someones face or maybe a licence plate … but how?

Well, first get your copy of Adobe Premiere Pro, preferably version 2.0 … how you get that program is your problem, I won’t go in to details on that.

Anyway, so now you got your copy of Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0? Ok, good. Let’s begin … I’m assuming you know at least the basics of how to operate the program.
